Above are 3 custom rolled cylinders that were rolled using 1/8” thick or 11ga hot rolled steel sheet metal. These cylinders were rolled to a precise diameter based on our customer’s needs and then welded. These parts are rolled from 18ga sheet metal that was perforated, and are rolled to an inside radius of 6”. This cylinder was made with 1/4" rolled plate that has been welded. The base is made from cut plate that is punched all the way around and welded to the cylinder. The top of the cylinder is flared using 1/4" flat bar that has been rolled the hard-way using a special technique to form a complete ring that could be welded to the cylinder. These are two different cylinders that have been rolled using 14ga stainless steel sheet metal. The larger cylinder has an inside radius of 12” and the smaller has an inside radius of 6”. Both parts were also welded completely at the seem to form a complete cylinder in our custom fabrication department. We specialize is both rolling & bending of sheet metal and steel plate. We do press brake bending using our 500 ton 18 foot press brake which can do up to 1/2 ” thick plate bending, and we also can do plate rolling up to 1” thick by 10 feet wide. |
